Every time you see the word HYPOCRITE in The Bible - it was JESUS who used it! He was Correcting Those Who Claimed One Thing and Lived Another! (Jesus had Zero Tolerance for HYPOCRITES!)

One Truth in Life is that PEOPLE ARE GOING TO LET US DOWN! (Christian or Non-Christian) We've got to somehow learn how to SHAKE IT OFF and LET IT GO!

When you enter into Marriage - you MUST have a NEVER GIVE UP Mindset! (Galatians 6:9…) So DON’T get tired of Doing what is Good. DON’T get Discouraged and GIVE UP… for we will reap a harvest of blessing at the appropriate time.

GOD MUST BE IN YOUR MARRIAGE! (Think about this...) HAPPINESS depends on HAPPENINGS - but JOY depends on CHRIST!

Philippians 4:6-7... Do NOT be ANXIOUS about ANYTHING… but in EVERYTHING - by PRAYER and PETITION… with Thanksgiving… PRESENT YOUR REQUESTS TO GOD.  And the Peace of God - which transcends all understanding - will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
 
FEAR will cause you to sit around and make up scenarios that COULD happen... (However…) FAITH will cause you to fully engage in things that SHOULD happen!
 
HOW CAN WE BEGIN TO PRAY THE IMPOSSIBILITIES POSSIBLE?
1) FAITH COMES FROM LOOKING AT GOD… NOT AT THE MOUNTAIN!

PSALM 23… (The Lord’s Prayer…) The Lord is MY Shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes ME lie down in green pastures, He leads ME beside quiet waters, He restores MY soul. He guides ME in paths of righteousness for His name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with ME; your rod and your staff, they comfort ME. You prepare a table before ME in the presence of MY enemies. You anoint MY head with oil; MY cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow ME all the days of MY life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (PRAYER is about what GOD CAN DO FOR YOU!)

JESUS never taught His Disciples HOW TO PREACH… (But Rather…) HOW TO PRAY!

Let us tell our neighbors the TRUTH… for we are all parts of the same body.

James 3:8-10a…  but NO HUMAN BEING CAN TAME THE TONGUE. It is a Restless Evil - full of Deadly Poison. With IT we Bless our Lord and Father - and with IT we Curse People who are made in the likeness of God. From the same MOUTH come Blessing and Cursing… (Our Words Are Powerful!)

When we COMPLAIN... all we're doing is TAKING OUR EYES OFF of the GOODNESS OF GOD and placing them directly on OURSELVES!

Philippians 2:14-15… DO EVERYTHING… (How Much? - EVERYTHING!) WITHOUT GRUMBLING or ARGUING… so that you may become blameless and pure - children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.

Paul taught Two Simple Concepts when it comes to COMPLAINING...
1) If there is SOMETHING in Your Life that’s NOT RIGHT and YOU CAN FIX “IT” - then FIX “IT” and STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT “IT!”
2) If there is SOMETHING in Your Life that’s NOT RIGHT and YOU CAN’T FIX “IT” - then CHANGE HOW you LOOK at “IT” and STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT “IT!”

Philippians 2:17-18… But EVEN IF I’m being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service coming from your faith… (Check This Out!) I am GLAD and REJOICE with all of you! So you too should be GLAD and REJOICE with me! (The Power of “EVEN IF!”)

The Real Competition for the Local Church today isn't Another Church - the Mega-Church – the Online Church – a Pandemic or the Whatever Else there may be… it’s INDIFFERENCE!
 
Jesus never called His Followers “CHRISTIANS!” - He called them “DISCIPLES!” (And…) That’s an even Scarier Word - because it actually MEANS SOMETHING!
 
Central to Jesus' Teachings was HOW WE (Jesus Followers) BEHAVE... the problem today is that it now seems more important in WHAT WE (Jesus Followers) BELIEVE!
 
John 13:35... By THIS… (This One Thing!) EVERYONE will KNOW that YOU are MY DISCIPLES - if you LOVE ONE ANOTHER!
 
Matthew 22:37-39… LOVE the Lord Your God with ALL your Heart and with ALL your Soul and with ALL your Mind. This is the First and Greatest Commandment! (But that’s not ALL of it - there’s a Second Command as Important as the First…) And the second is like it… LOVE your NEIGHBOR as YOURSELF!
 
TRUTH does not need YOUR Emotions/Opinions/Approval to Validate Something - TRUTH comes from GOD and GOD ALONE! (God Doesn't Need Your Help!)
 
In Every Situation/Circumstance and with Every Person – you should always be asking yourself… WHAT DOES LOVE REQUIRE OF ME?

COMPARISON IS THE ENEMY OF CALLING! -- You can't Fulfill God's Purpose for You – when You're Comparing Your Calling to Someone Else's!
 
Hebrews 12:1-2… Therefore - since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses… LET US THROW OFF “EVERYTHING” THAT HINDERS US and the SIN that so easily entangles us! (That includes COMPARISON!) And LET US RUN WITH PERSEVERANCE THE RACE THAT IS MARKED OUT FOR US… (FOR WHO? FOR ONLY YOU! YOUR RACE! – And how do we do that…?) FIXING OUR EYES ON JESUS – THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH! (And HOW did He do that?) For the joy set before Him - He endured the cross… scorning its shame… and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God!
 
Stay In Your Lane - Stop Looking Over Your Shoulder! RUN YOUR RACE!

3. PASTORS and CHURCH LEADERS (1 Timothy 5:17)
 
Isaiah 29:13… These people come near to me with their mouth and HONOR me with their lips - but their HEARTS are FAR from ME. (HONOR is a matter of the HEART!)

The Key to SURRENDERING (Whatever it is in your life to Jesus?) is found in TWO WORDS of Jesus' Surrender Prayer... (Matthew 26:39b) "My Father… IF it's possible - may this cup be taken from me. YET not my will - but your will be done!" (REAL FAITH starts between the "IF" and the "YET!”)

With Step-Children... If you try to Rush Relationships you run the risk of Stifling Them before they have a Chance to Develop! (Be Patient!)
 
Zig Ziglar... “A lot of people quit working as soon as they get a job.” -- That's often true with Step-Families too... we somehow think that after the wedding we no longer need to WORK at Making Our New Family All That God Wants It To Be!

The First Primary Lesson Every Child Needs is to learn how to RESPECT AUTHORITY!
 
"Because I Said So..." really is an Answer that deserves/requires the minimum level of Respect for you Mom/Dad!
 
One of the GREATEST LESSONS you can teach your CHILD today is… RESPECTING POSITIONAL LEADERSHIP/AUTHORITY!
 
Romans 13:1-2… Everyone must SUBMIT HIMSELF to the Governing AUTHORITES… for there is No Authority except that which God Has Established! The AUTHORITIES that exist have been Established By God! Consequently… he who Rebels against the AUTHORITY is Rebelling Against What God Has Instituted… and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves!
 
The Reason "Because I Said So..." is vital for your child to get is because you want your child to know that later in life when "God Says So..." - their vote really doesn't matter!
 
The Second Primary Lesson Every Child Needs is to learn that WHEN YOU DON’T RESPECT AUTHORITY – YOU WILL RECEIVE DISCIPLINE!

1 Corinthians 3:11-13… For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, their work will be shown for what it is, because THE DAY (The Bema Seat – The Judgment Seat of Christ) will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work.

The Moment You Place A Faith In Jesus Christ… YOUR SINS WERE BOTH FORGIVEN AND FORGOTTEN - THEY’VE BEEN COVERED UNDER THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST!

1 Corinthians 3:13… Their (Christians) work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the "QUALITY" of each person’s work. (Follower of Jesus... IT MATTERS HOW YOU ARE LIVING FOR JESUS TODAY!)

Rather than trying to PRODUCE your way through your Mental Challenge... trying PRAYING your way through it!

1 Peter 5:6-7… Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s Mighty Hand… that He may Lift You Up in due time! Cast All Your Anxiety On Him… because HE CARES FOR YOU!

Learn a Lesson from PETER in his "Walking On Water" Moment... (MAYBE?!) Your Problem isn't that you’re SINKING… maybe Your Problem is that you're not REACHING?! (You're always within HIM REACHING to YOU!)

1 Kings 19:1-5… Now Ahab told Jezebel everything Elijah had done and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword. So Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah to say, “May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely, if by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them.” Elijah was AFRAID! HE RAN FOR HIS LIFE! When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and PRAYED THAT HE MIGHT DIE! “I HAVE HAD ENOUGH LORD…” he said. “TAKE MY LIFE – I AM NO BETTER THAN MY ANCESTORS!” Then he lay down under the bush and fell asleep.

When You Feel Like You've Had Enough - learn a lesson from ELIJAH'S MISTAKES…
First... STOP RUNNING! (1 Kings 19:3a)
Second… DON’T ABANDON COMMUNITY! (1 Kings 19:3b-4a)

Fourth… DON’T EVER FORGET GOD! (1 Kings 19:5)

When there is NO ABSOLUTE TRUTH in Your Life... the BOTTOM-LINE with everything is YOUR HAPPINESS… so HAPPINESS becomes the STANDARDS by which YOU WILL JUDGE YOUR ACTIONS! (That's a Dangerous Way to live!)

We need to stop looking for HAPPINESS in the LOWER PLACES of This World… when God has Designed us for a HIGHER PLACE!

MONEY is a very interesting thing in our lives! (And regardless of what you may think at times…) There’s Good News and Bad News with Our Money! The GOOD NEWS is… YOU’RE RICHER THAN YOU THINK! (And…) The BAD NEWS is… YOU’RE RICHER THAN YOU THINK! (HA!) Now here’s the PROBLEM with both of those TRUTHS… WE DON’T ALWAYS FEEL THAT RICH! (Right?!) So just in case you ever cross over that imaginary line of BEING RICH… we want you to know that THE BIBLE teaches us TO BE GOOD AT IT! If you can VIEW YOUR WEALTH through the LENS OF ETERNITY… YOU WILL LOSE YOUR GRIP ON IT and IT WILL LOSE ITS GRIP ON YOU!

Learn a Lesson about Your Money from the RICH MAN in Luke 12... STOP LIVING UNDER THE ASSUMPTION THAT IT'S ALL FOR YOUR CONSUMPTION!

When it's ALL SAID AND DONE... We don't get Credit for what we LEAVE - We get Credit for what we GIVE!

Luke 12:34... For WHERE your TREASURE is… THERE your HEART will be also. (That Means...) The NUMBER ONE CONTENDER for your HEART every single day of  your life will always be your WEALTH!
